A ceramic that incorporates new designs and techniques in the traditional technique of the city of Hasami-cho, Nagasaki Prefecture, which has a history of about 400 years. The base material is a natural porcelain raw material “Amakusa pottery stone” that can be obtained in the Amakusa Islands of Kumamoto Prefecture. As a result, it is sharper than pottery and has a rough texture that is not found in porcelain. In addition, the original design emphasizes its appearance by omitting the decoration.Mugs, bowls, trays, etc. are designed with a common diameter, allowing free stacking. It also combines the beauty when it is stored. This idea is inspired by the traditional Japanese container “Jubako”.
